Dear applicant and future Belmont Abbey student: 


The Fr. Felix Hintemeyer Catholic Leadership Program is designed to foster the leadership potential of Catholic men and women. The program requires serious commitment to a life of prayer and the truths of Catholicism, exemplary character, integrity, charity, initiative, humility, diligence, and creativity. All these will be exercised for the glory of God and to build up His Kingdom. 

The Hintemeyer Program seeks students who have received the Sacrament of Confirmation, who have proven leadership ability and self-motivation, and who have a desire to serve others. Please read carefully the requirements and instructions listed below. Incomplete or unqualified applications will not be considered.

Required Responses

Required Interview
In order to be granted a Fr. Felix Hintemeyer Scholarship, applicants need to take part in a Scholarship Interview. After submitting an application, you will be contacted by the program director to schedule an interview. 
Required Letter of Good Standing
In order to be granted a Fr. Felix Hintemeyer Scholarship, applicants need to submit a Letter of Good Standing to affirm they are practicing, confirmed Catholics. After you complete the Scholarship Interview, you will be notified if you are conditionally accepted pending the reception of your Letter of Good Standing. We will provide this form to be signed and submitted after the interview.
